Last day in Petal and Oh my...

Tommy, Poppy, and my family went out to look at Poppy's land that had just been cleared after Katrina hit them. We toke dad's truck and Poppy's tractor and started to drive down there. When we got to where we had to stop everyone got out besides mom and I ( We didn't bring shoes to walk in the mud with). So dad told us to drive around to another road and pick them up there. Mom started to back up and ... BAM ... the truck was stuck! Mom started to honk the horn to let Poppy know that we needed the tractor to get back so we wouldn't have to get dirty. Well after eternity Poppy finally came to pick us up.( When we were out there waiting mom and I decided that the city life is for us 'cause at least in the city you have cell phone coverage)! When we got back to the house Taylor and dad got a chain to pull the truck up. After about 40 min. the truck came up to the drive way!! So I don't think we will be taking the truck in the woods for awhile.

Yesterday I did go fishing. It wasn't so bad though because we caught eleven bass! I don't think my brothers and cousin caught any fish. They were to busy chasing cows around or being chased by the cows to go fishing. After that my uncle wanted me to sing some songs with him that he had played over seas at the Chapel. We sang for like 2 1/2 hours. It was great! Today all the James' and Bond cousins are going to see A Night In The Musuem. I have been dieing to see that movie! Well my breakfast is ready. This morning it was like 28 degrees. It is suppose to get up to like the 50's. That's nice weather when you stay inside but when your dad wants you to go fishing it doesn't feel so great! I got to see my Uncle Tom yestder day and his wife Denise and kid Rachel. You never know what color hair Denise is going to have. It use to be pinkish - purple but now it's black with a blonde streak in the front. My counsin hasn't changed a bit! She still talks like a grown up and plays her game boy or the newest game thing ( I don't keep up with that stuff). And my uncle still acts like my dad ( twelve year olds)! They are so funny together! Last night everyone was laughing so hard. I haven't seen my grandparents look that happy in awhile! My grandparents have favorites and right now Tom is the favorite because he hasn't been home in three years. But dad is the baby and still gets treated like one. Well I should go get ready to go fishing. It'll be a blast ....

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I did. Christmas is the best time of the year! I got to see family today that I only get to see like once a year. It was great! My counsin who never talks to me was super nice to me today it was wonderful. All five of us grandkids got an ipod for Christmas. So as you know everyone has been downloading songs and as I type they are being downloaded. It's crazy!?! I am full of food and sweets. We always get a Happy Birthday Jesus cake for Christmas and this year it was super sweet. I feel so sick right now! My Uncle who I haven't seen in 3 years is coming tomorrow night with his wife and kid. He just got back from somewhere over seas. It hit me Friday that I was going to see him and my favorite aunt on my dads side so I was so happy. That made my day. Got to go and download some more songs on the ipods. See ya'll Sunday.

p.s. I need some colors for my site but as you can tell I don't know what colors. If you have any ideas that would be great!
